We know that the Olympics ended quite a while ago, but we have to mention something that lots of people might not know and that is the Refugee Olympic Team!
Yes, you read it right the first time. There is a Refugee Olympic Team created by the International Olympic Committee. MIND BLOWN!!!
They were first assembled for the Olympic Games Rio 2016 with 10 athletes. For the recent Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, the number of athletes competing grew to 29.
